Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work on Linux or Apple computers?
No. We have more knowledge in Microsoft Windows based computers. Most of our customer population is in this category and if we focus our strengths onto one product, we can be more productive and have a quicker turn around time. We don't want you to be without your computer any longer than you need to be. Putting all of our knowledge into one product base, allows us to be efficient with that product.

Do you work on business or corporate computers?
No. We are a small company that is there for the average home user. Most business and corporate types have an Information Technology department that will handle their needs, but nobody can give that support to the home user. That is what we are here for. We want to pass our knowledge and experience onto the home user.

Do you take special requests?
Yes, we most certainly do. What ever you think you may or may not need, contact us and we will see what we can do for you. We will always be honest and up front with you. If it is something we can't do we will tell you. What we WON'T do is tell you we can do something when we know we can't and take on a task that could end badly. In simple words, if you have something we can't fix, we will tell you we can't fix it and no charge for looking at it.

Why are your hours so different?
While we are here for the average home user, we are also home users ourselves. We still have full time day jobs, but provide this service for our customers after general workday hours and weekends. We are passionate about our business and customer satisfaction is our number one goal. So we give our hours up front to ensure there are no questions.

Do you offer phone support?
No and the reason is, it is real hard to get computers fixed in the small time frame we already have, to add to that walking someone over the phone on how to setup their email client, or how to start in safe mode, or update a driver is just too time consuming. We want to give our current customers the undivided attention that you would expect if we were currently working on your computer. Our business number is for scheduling pickups and drop offs. If you have an issue on a computer we just repaired, then please don't hesitate to contact us via emil or phone. We will do our best to get you in and get you fixed up.

Do you make house calls?
Normally we say no to this question. Working on the computers in our shop where we have all our tools, resources, and time is the optimal way for us to keep on schedule. Taking time for on-site work just isn't a good thing for the other customers who are waiting on their computers. However, there are occations when a house call would be more benificial than having you drive your PC to us, or us pick up your PC when we can fix it on-site. With special arrangements and an added cost, we can perform this service. This is an as-per basis and not something we do on a regular basis.

Do you pick up computers from a residence home?
For a separate fee of $10 for pick-up and $10 for delivery, we will send a person to your home to pick-up or drop off your computer. Unfortanatly, this person will not be able to remove or install your computer and/or peripherals. They merely there for the tranport of your computer. This separate fee is due at time of pick-up and/or delivery and is payable to the delivery person in form of cash or check.
